Flash is a Quarter Horse/Arabian cross gelding in his mid to late twenties

Flash is enjoying a well deserved retirement at Dogwood Trace Trakehners

Flash is very laid back and gentle

Nancy and Glenn have known Flash for a long time

He was boarded at Dogwood Trace for a while in his youth

His owner Lauren showed him in western pleasure classes when Flash was younger

Later, he was donated to the Reinbow Riders program which Nancy ran

Flash faithfully served as a mount for the therapy stable from its creation in 1999 until October 2008

After his well-earned retirement from service, he returned to Dogwood Trace Trakehners

Flash was an ideal therapy horse because he took great care of his riders, regardless of their level of experience or independence

He is a good babysitter to the young horses and weanlings because of his tolerant, gentle personality

Flash is now living the "easy" life, though he still gives the occasional ride to young friends of the farm

Flash is very laid back, gentle and trusting

Flash gets along well with all the horses, including the young horses

Flash is very tolerant with his pasture mates and still enjoys the ocassional run with his buddies

Prior to his career as a therapy horse, Flash was shown in western pleasure under the name "Flash as Lightning"

Flash is a very friendly, good-natured horse!

"Do you know how God controls the clouds and makes his lightning flash?" - Job 37:15
