Irisa is a 1995 registered Trakehner mare from Germany

Irisa is by Guter Planet and out of Irisette II, by Amiego *Ps*E* (see full pedigree below).

She excels at both jumping and dressage and easily clears 3'3 oxers

 She loves the trails and enjoys exploring

She does great on trail rides, both in the company of other horses and by herself 

She is a well trained dressage horse with nice gaits who is currently schooling 3rd Level dressage 

Irisa does leg yields, walk pirouettes, turns on the forehand and haunches, and demonstrates good collection, extension and lengthening of her gaits

Irisa and Glenn have attended several clinics by USEF "S" dressage judge Tom Poulin, who really liked Irisa and said her extended trot is grand prix quality

She is a naturally forward moving horse with a long stride

 She has a calm, sensitive temperament and wants to please

Irisa has been used in lessons with advanced beginners and intermediate riders making the change to dressage

Irisa was shown lightly as a hunter/jumper in her youth.

She was Reserve Champion Pre-Green Hunter/Jumper at her first show (rated "A") and Grand Champion in the Green Hunter/Jumper division at her second event.

 Irisa has had one foal, I Am Isis (picture below, on right, with Irisa), in 2001 (click here to learn more about Isis). Isis has now had two foals, both fillies.
